Register your Gypsy today for the 2017 Ambassador Award Program!The Ambassador Award Program is open to GHRA registered horses owned by current GHRA members in good standing. Current program runs from Jan 1, 2017 to Dec 31, 2017. Points may be earned at any show or event regardless of Society hosting the event or show. Only actual placing will count towards Ambassador Award totals, special awards are not eligible. All results will be verified, any falsified results will result in disqualification and entry fee will be forfeited.
Ambassador Awards are given in each of the sections below and for each event:
Section A ~ under 14.2 hh
Section B ~ 14.2 hh and over
Section C ~ Crossbred (one parent must be full blood Gypsy Horse/Cob)…
1. Halter Classes – Stallion, Mare and Gelding by age
2. Performance Classes – Driving, Jumping, Western, English, Dressage, Riding Trail Class
3. Exhibitions – Parades, Sponsored Trail Rides, Exhibitions
Champion Points Achievement Scale:
- Reserve Champion – 50 pts
- Championhsip – 100 pts
- Reserve Grand – 150 pts
- Grand Championship – 200 pts
Ambassador Application Instructions:
Fill out Ambassador registration application completely. Submit application with check for the applicable fee, payable to GHRA for each horse you are registering for the 2017 Ambassador Award Program. Only one horse may be included on each application. Additional copies of the application may be made, as needed. Online application here.
Upon receipt of your Ambassador application, GHRA will forward Point Verification records to submit following each event you enter and a Personal Record for you to keep track of your placings.
Point Verification Form
Enter results onto Point Verification Form at each show or event. Complete all category boxes including the class name & number. Be sure to include the Show Secretary’s name and phone number as results must be verified to count towards Awards. Obtain Secretary’s signature for each placing. Mail results, delivery verified, to the Ambassador Secretary at GHRA within 10 days after the show or event.
A Personal Record card is provided to each registrant, which includes the Ambassador rules, award categories & point system. Space is provided on the back of the card to allow participant to enter information on all events attended throughout the year. Please do not send to GHRA.
