Loralee Stevens

Loralee is from Marshall, Michigan has trained mostly Morgan, but many other breeds of horses for over 35 years in riding and driving disciplines. She has trained youth and amateur to compete for all around events and shows, i.e. Western Pleasure/Equitation; Hunt Seat Pleasure/Equitation on the flat and over fences; Saddle Seat Pleasure/Equitation; Driving; Dressage; Showmanship and pattern classes. Lora began her career in the early 90’s as a horse show judge and she has judged on an average of 15+ shows a year ranging from miniature horses to drafts show; from 4-H to open to circuit shows; Jumping to Dressage.
Lora’s judging cards are with the Pony of America (POA) for over 15 years and numerous State 4H certifications (Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Ohio and others) Dominate Gray Horse Association (mid-1990 to early 2000); Michigan Interscholastic Horsemanship Association (MIHA) and also Ohio – OHIA judging and coached MIHA teams for many years. Lora was also an inter-collegiate coach for Albion Collage for 2 years.
Lora became a mentor for new judges in Michigan while she was on the State 4-H Judges Advisory Committee at MSU for 6 years. For 8 years Lora was also on the Justin Morgan Horse Association Board of Directors, helped plan and implements successful multi-day show. GVHS Judge.
